Responsibilities
- Research & Strategy: Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions.
- Wireframing & Prototyping: Create low-fidelity wireframes and high-fidelity interactive prototypes using Figma and Adobe XD.
- Design Systems: Contribute to and maintain our internal design system to ensure consistency across all products.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into intuitive designs.
- Accessibility: Ensure all designs comply with WCAG 2.1 accessibility guidelines.
- Maintenance: Iterate on existing designs based on user feedback and analytics data.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably in a part-time or freelance capacity.
- Tools: Proficient in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating a clear design process and successful project outcomes.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex design concepts to non-technical teams.
- Empathy: Deep understanding of user psychology and the ability to advocate for the end-user.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
