Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response investigations and forensic analysis
- Develop and maintain security documentation (playbooks, policies)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls
- Provide 24/7 on-call rotation for critical incidents
- Generate executive security reports and metrics
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification required
- Expertise in threat detection tools (IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) frameworks
- Strong knowledge of NIST and CIS controls
- Proficiency in Python or Bash for automation
- Valid US driver's license for occasional client visits
