Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events using SIEM tools like Splunk and Microsoft Sentinel.
- Lead incident response efforts for security breaches, malware attacks, and unauthorized access attempts.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and support penetration testing initiatives to identify system weaknesses.
- Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA).
- Collaborate with IT engineering teams to patch vulnerabilities and harden network defenses.
- Produce detailed security reports and dashboards for executive stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity or network security operations.
- Professional certification (e.g., CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH) preferred.
- Proficiency with SIEM, EDR, and threat intelligence platforms.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, and network segmentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting.
