Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response investigations for security breaches and cyber attacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of enterprise systems
- Develop and maintain security documentation including playbooks and policies
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement secure coding practices
- Proactively hunt for threats using threat intelligence feeds and MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Provide security awareness training to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- Industry certifications (CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GIAC preferred)
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and EDR solutions
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and Windows/Linux systems
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate complex security concepts
