Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct threat hunting and forensic investigations on endpoint systems
- Develop and execute incident response playbooks for security breaches
- Generate comprehensive risk assessments and compliance reports
- Collaborate with network engineering teams on security hardening
- Lead vulnerability management processes and patch prioritization
- Present threat intelligence briefings to executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in SOC environments
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS, WAF)
- Strong knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (AlienVault, Recorded Future)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Valid NC driver's license for occasional client site visits
