Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems (SIEM, IDS/IPS) and respond to 24/7 alerts
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Investigate security incidents and develop mitigation strategies
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, EDR, DLP)
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST/ISO frameworks
- Document security procedures and incident response plans
- Stay current on threat intelligence and emerging attack vectors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with hands-on SIEM tools
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols and architectures
- Certifications (CISSP, Security+, CEH, or equivalent)
- Experience with incident response and forensic analysis
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
