Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response investigations for malware, phishing, and DDoS attacks
- Develop and maintain threat intelligence reports for executive stakeholders
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on cloud environments
- Implement security controls for AWS/Azure infrastructure and zero-trust networks
- Collaborate with engineering teams to remediate critical security gaps
- Document security procedures and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity operations with SOC/IR experience
- CISSP, CISM, or GIAC certification required
- Expertise in threat detection tools (CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Networks)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Experience with cloud security (AWS Security Hub, Azure Sentinel)
- Deep understanding of MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Ability to handle high-pressure incident scenarios
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
