Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) to detect and respond to cyber threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Investigate security incidents, document findings, and implement remediation actions
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls across cloud and on-premise environments
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend proactive security measures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification preferred
- Proficiency with SIEM tools, firewalls, and endpoint security solutions
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and compliance frameworks
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work under pressure during incidents
