Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to security incidents with NIST framework compliance
- Conduct threat hunting using MITRE ATT&CK methodologies
- Generate comprehensive incident reports and executive summaries
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security posture improvements
- Develop playbooks for emerging cyber threats
- Participate in 24/7 rotational on-call duty
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on security operations experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in network security tools (FireEye, Palo Alto)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (FISMA, NISPOM)
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
