Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and analyze network traffic for potential threats using SIEM tools
- Investigate security incidents, document findings, and implement remediation actions
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on client systems
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry trends
- Provide security awareness training to stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or SOC environments
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001), and compliance standards
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence platforms
- Experience with incident response handling and forensic investigation
- Security certifications (CISSP, Security+, CEH) preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
