Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows server environments across on-premises and AWS/Azure
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Ansible
- Monitor system performance with Nagios and Splunk
- Implement robust cybersecurity protocols including firewalls and access controls
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN services
- Coordinate disaster recovery testing and documentation
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex technical issues
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience
- Expertise in Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server 2019+
- Advanced AWS/Azure certification (Solutions Architect or equivalent)
- Proficiency in Python/PowerShell scripting for automation
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, BGP)
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- ITIL Foundation certification preferred
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and documentation abilities
