Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows/Linux server environments including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Implement robust cybersecurity protocols, patch management, and backup/disaster recovery solutions
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, and SolarWinds
- Lead infrastructure projects including cloud migrations (AWS/Azure) and network upgrades
- Provide Tier-3 technical support and mentor junior team members
- Document IT processes, SOPs, and system architecture diagrams
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience in enterprise environments
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Strong knowledge of networking principles (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls)
- Certifications: MCSE, Linux+, or CompTIA Server+ required
- Proficiency in automation tools (Ansible, PowerShell, Python)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
