We're urgently seeking a Senior System Administrator to join our dynamic IT team in Atlanta, GA. As a critical infrastructure guardian, you'll ensure our cloud and on-premise systems run at peak performance while implementing cutting-edge security protocols. Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
- Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Implement robust cybersecurity measures including firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, and SolarWinds
- Execute disaster recovery plans and conduct regular system backups
- Automate workflows using PowerShell, Python, and Ansible
- Provide Tier-3 technical support and document SOPs
Qualifications
- 5+ years in system administration with enterprise-level experience
- Expert proficiency in Windows Server 2016/2019 and Red Hat/CentOS
- Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure) and scripting expertise (Python/PowerShell)
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and container technologies
- Security certifications (Security+, CISSP preferred)
- Ability to work flexible hours for system maintenance windows
