Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and on-premise systems
- Manage virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper-V) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Monitor system performance using Zabbix/Prometheus and proactively resolve incidents
- Enforce security protocols (SIEM, firewalls, access controls) and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Automate deployment pipelines with Ansible/Terraform and CI/CD tools
- Document infrastructure architecture and maintain disaster recovery plans
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex system outages and coordinate cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration with Linux/Windows Server expertise
- Advanced certifications (AWS/Azure, CCNA, or CompTIA Server+)
- Proficiency in virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V) and container technologies
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash) and infrastructure-as-code experience
- Deep knowledge of network security principles and compliance frameworks
- Proven experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Nagios, Datadog)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts and manage high-pressure situations
