Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows server environments and virtualization platforms (VMware/KVM)
- Automate deployment and monitoring using Ansible/Terraform and monitoring tools like Nagios
- Manage cloud infrastructure across AWS/Azure with emphasis on security best practices
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system patching/upgrades
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines
- Provide Tier-3 support and mentor junior administrators
- Document infrastructure architecture and SOPs
Qualifications
- 5+ years in system administration with 3+ years in cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Expertise in Linux/Windows Server, Active Directory, and enterprise networking
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash) and automation experience
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent security certification required
- Proven experience with virtualization and containerization technologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
