Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments across hybrid cloud platforms
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network infrastructure (Cisco/Juniper)
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system patches/upgrades monthly
- Monitor system performance using Splunk/Nagios and optimize resource allocation
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on automation using Ansible/Terraform
- Document IT infrastructure and maintain compliance with SOC 2 standards
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex system outages during 24/7 on-call rotation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise-level system administration experience
- Expert proficiency in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Strong knowledge of AWS/Azure and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or equivalent required
- Proven experience with scripting (PowerShell/Python) for automation
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network and security issues
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
