Responsibilities
- Server Management: Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers to ensure high availability and performance.
- Network Administration: Monitor and troubleshoot network issues, ensuring secure and reliable connectivity for all employees.
- Security Implementation: Enforce security protocols, manage firewalls, and conduct regular vulnerability assessments to protect company data.
- System Monitoring: Implement and manage monitoring tools to track system health, performance metrics, and alerting systems.
- Backup & Recovery: Develop and execute robust backup strategies to ensure data integrity and facilitate disaster recovery.
- Hardware Support: Oversee the procurement and maintenance of IT hardware, including workstations and peripherals.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of proven experience as a System Administrator or Network Administrator.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (equivalent experience is accepted).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux (Red Hat/CentOS).
- Networking: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
- Scripting: Experience with PowerShell or Bash scripting for automation.
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, CCNA, or MCSA certification is highly preferred.
