Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain complex network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and routers, ensuring high security and performance standards.
- Administer and optimize on-premise Windows Server and Linux environments, including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP services.
- Implement and manage Cloud solutions, primarily AWS and Azure, to support scalable application deployments.
- Oversee server virtualization using VMware or Hyper-V to maximize resource utilization and reduce hardware costs.
- Develop and maintain robust backup and disaster recovery solutions to protect critical business data.
- Provide Level 3 technical support and troubleshooting for complex hardware and software issues across the organization.
- Automate routine tasks and scripts (Python/Bash) to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual errors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Deep proficiency in Windows Server (2012-2022) and Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, OSI model) and security best practices.
- Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, CCNA, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
