Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Lead scenario planning workshops with C-suite executives to map future industry disruptions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, government labs, and innovation hubs
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and predictive models for board-level decision-making
- Mentor a team of futurists and junior strategists in trend analysis and futures methodologies
- Represent the company at global forums on technology policy and ethical innovation
- Design and deploy early-warning systems for emerging risks and opportunities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Strategic Foresight, Technology Policy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futures research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial/business impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., AI ethics, quantum applications)
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills with executive audiences
- Experience leading cross-cultural, global teams in distributed environments
- Published author in futures studies or technology forecasting (peer-reviewed journals)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Scenario Planning)
