Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize Windows/Linux server environments using VMware and Kubernetes
- Manage cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure with IaC practices (Terraform)
- Proactively monitor systems using Nagios and Splunk to prevent downtime
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute quarterly DR tests
- Automate workflows using Python/Ansible to reduce operational overhead
- Document SOPs and create knowledge base articles for team enablement
- Collaborate with security team to harden systems and implement compliance frameworks
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing enterprise-level Windows/Linux environments
- Expert-level knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
- AWS/Azure certification (SAA/AZ-900 or higher)
- Experience with container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- CI/CD pipeline implementation experience (Jenkins/GitLab)
- ITIL foundation certification preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
