Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust server environments (Windows/Linux)
- Oversee cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure with emphasis on scalability and security
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network services
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resource utilization
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell/Python for operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (NIST, SOC2) and best practices
- Lead system upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery planning
- Document processes and provide technical guidance to junior staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (5+ years experience accepted)
- Expert-level proficiency with Windows Server 2019/2022 and Active Directory
- Strong experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and IaaS/PaaS services
- Proven scripting abilities (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
- Security certifications (CompTIA Security+, CISSP) preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
