Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel) to identify and mitigate threats in real-time.
- Lead and manage incident response plans during security breaches, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to proactively identify system weaknesses.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation (ISO 27001, NIST).
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security measures into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Stay abreast of the latest cyber threats and trends to recommend proactive defense strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are strongly required.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or threat hunting.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation and threat hunting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
