What You Will Do:
Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Investigate and remediate security breaches, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.
- Manage and configure security appliances, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation (GDPR, HIPAA, NIST).
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification is highly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in a SOC, GRC, or security engineering role.
- Strong working knowledge of Splunk, SIEM, and SIEM integration technologies.
- Familiarity with network security protocols (TCP/IP, VPN, SSL/TLS) and common attack vectors.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation and analysis.
