Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents in a 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, and other security controls.
- Develop and update security policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance (NIST, HIPAA).
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security best practices into the development lifecycle.
- Perform regular security audits and log analysis to detect suspicious activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or network administration.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel, or QRadar).
- Experience with Windows Server, Linux, and Active Directory environments.
- Familiarity with network protocols, TCP/IP, and VPN technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
