Your Mission
As a Night Shift Analyst, you will monitor, detect, and respond to security events, ensuring business continuity and data integrity. We are looking for someone who thrives in a high-pressure environment and takes pride in protecting sensitive information.
Responsibilities
- Monitor Security Operations Center (SOC) systems and SIEM dashboards 24/7 during night shifts for security alerts and anomalies.
- Investigate, triage, and remediate security incidents and vulnerabilities with high urgency.
- Conduct proactive threat hunting to identify advanced persistent threats (APTs) before they cause damage.
- Collaborate with day-shift engineering teams to resolve escalated security tickets and implement patches.
- Generate and present detailed daily/weekly security reports to leadership.
- Enforce strict compliance standards (SOC2, HIPAA) and security policies.
- Perform log analysis and forensic investigations when required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or network security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or SANS GSEC are highly preferred.
- Expert proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, ArcSight, QRadar, or LogRhythm).
- Deep understanding of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation and incident response.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and cross-team collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and maintain focus during night shifts.
