Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events and alerts within the SIEM platform.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and manage security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Investigate security breaches, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend remediation strategies.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Prepare and present detailed security reports to stakeholders and leadership.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security analysis.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, CIS Controls, and ISO 27001.
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, LogRhythm) and SOAR platforms.
- Experience with network security architecture and incident response procedures.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret clearance.
