Job Summary
As our Senior Cybersecurity Analyst, you will oversee the security posture of our enterprise infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and mitigating potential risks. You will act as a subject matter expert, guiding junior analysts and working closely with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to detect and respond to cyber threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits to identify system weaknesses.
- Manage and coordinate the incident response process, including root cause analysis and remediation planning.
- Enforce organizational security policies and ensure strict compliance with NIST, CIS, and HIPAA standards.
- Collaborate with IT engineering teams to implement advanced security controls and secure network architecture.
- Stay abreast of the latest threat intelligence and emerging cybersecurity trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, or IT security roles.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of SIEM platforms, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) and Linux/Windows administration.
