SecureNet Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our elite security team in Atlanta, GA. As a key member of our Information Security team, you will be responsible for monitoring our security posture, responding to incidents, and implementing robust defense strategies to ensure business continuity.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events via SIEM (Splunk, QRadar) and correlate data to identify potential threats.
- Lead incident response efforts, including triage, investigation, containment, and eradication of cyber threats.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our infrastructure.
- Manage security configurations for firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and SOC 2.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information assurance.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH are strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
- Experience with SIEM tools, endpoint detection and response (EDR), and threat intelligence platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
