Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Enforce security policies and protocols to mitigate risks across the network.
- Investigate suspicious activities and lead the incident response lifecycle.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configuration of servers and endpoints.
- Generate and present security reports to stakeholders and management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in a SOC or Security Analyst role.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
