Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts, logs, and SIEM dashboards for suspicious activity and anomalies.
- Conduct daily vulnerability scans and ensure timely patching of systems.
- Investigate security incidents and coordinate with the team for containment and remediation.
- Enforce compliance standards (SOC2, HIPAA) and security policies.
- Perform periodic penetration testing and security assessments.
- Document security incidents and prepare detailed reports for management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security operations.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, LogRhythm) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote or hybrid setting.
