Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech convergence, AGI) shaping 2026+ landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for 5-10 year strategic horizons
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into product roadmaps
- Partner with C-suite executives to embed future-readiness into corporate strategy
- Produce trend reports and white papers disseminated to industry stakeholders
- Identify disruptive business models and market opportunities in emerging sectors
- Curate and manage an innovation ecosystem of startups, academics, and think tanks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into commercial initiatives
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum, neurotech)
- Exceptional communication skills for executive audiences and technical teams
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation domains
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTR preferred)
