Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events in real-time using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel).
- Investigate and triage potential security incidents and breaches to minimize downtime.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend remediation strategies for network security.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, CIS).
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement secure coding practices.
- Respond to and document security incidents according to incident response procedures.
- Provide regular reporting on security posture and threat landscape to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in cybersecurity or SOC operations.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
- Experience with intrusion detection systems and endpoint protection platforms.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
