Responsibilities
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma
- Develop user personas and journey maps based on research insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, marketing)
- Iterate on designs based on stakeholder feedback and user data
- Document design systems and maintain UI component libraries
- Present design solutions to stakeholders with clear rationale
- Stay updated on UX trends and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Portfolio showcasing design thinking and problem-solving abilities (school projects, personal work, or redesigns accepted)
- Basic knowledge of design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to feedback
- Passion for user-centered design and accessibility
- High school diploma or equivalent; design bootcamp or degree preferred
