As a key member of our product design team, you'll craft user-centered solutions for high-impact digital platforms. We value diverse perspectives and encourage remote-friendly collaboration, with occasional in-person workshops at our state-of-the-art downtown studio.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end UX design processes including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to implement pixel-perfect designs
- Develop and maintain design systems ensuring consistency across digital products
- Conduct user interviews and data analysis to identify pain points and opportunities
- Create compelling visual designs using Figma, Adobe XD, and prototyping tools
- Present design solutions to stakeholders and iterate based on feedback
- Mentor junior designers and champion UX best practices across the organization
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional UX design experience with portfolio showcasing complex projects
- Expertise in design tools: Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping platforms
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and accessibility standards
- Experience with user research methodologies (interviews, surveys, usability testing)
- Ability to translate business requirements into intuitive user experiences
- Portfolio demonstrating visual design, interaction design, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate design decisions
- Preference for candidates with Alaska/Northwest experience or interest in Arctic UX challenges
