Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and maintain Linux/Windows Server environments across AWS and on-premise infrastructure
- Implement robust cybersecurity frameworks including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and compliance monitoring
- Automate system administration tasks using Python, Ansible, and Terraform
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system failover drills
- Optimize network performance through VLAN configuration, load balancing, and QoS implementation
- Manage cloud services including EC2, S3, and Lambda with cost optimization strategies
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex system issues and mentor junior administrators
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with Linux and Windows Server
- Expert-level knowledge of AWS services and hybrid cloud architecture
- Certification in CompTIA Linux+, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or equivalent
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for complex multi-tier systems
- Ability to work under pressure during critical incidents
