Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using advanced tools like SolarWinds and Cisco IOS
- Troubleshoot network outages and implement proactive solutions
- Ensure network security through VLAN segmentation, VPN management, and access controls
- Document network configurations and create technical documentation
- Collaborate with cloud services (AWS/Azure) for hybrid network solutions
- Provide Tier 3 support for enterprise-level network issues
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet devices
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools and Wireshark
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work under pressure
