Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and optimize Cisco/Juniper network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG to ensure 99.9% uptime
- Resolve Tier 2/Tier 3 network outages within SLA targets through systematic troubleshooting
- Implement security protocols (NAC, VPN, IDS/IPS) to protect against cyber threats
- Document network architecture and create runbooks for operational continuity
- Collaborate with cloud teams to hybridize on-premise and AWS/Azure environments
- Mentor junior technicians and conduct quarterly network health assessments
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise network administration
- CCNA/CCNP or equivalent network certification required
- Proficiency in network automation tools (Ansible, Python, Terraform)
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN architectures
- Familiarity with SD-WAN solutions (Cisco Viptela, VMware SD-WAN)
- Experience with network forensics and incident response protocols
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- CompTIA Network+ certification minimum
