Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the daily operations of server infrastructure, including maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting to ensure 99.9% system uptime.
- Network Security: Implement and monitor security protocols to protect organizational data, manage firewalls, and conduct vulnerability assessments.
- System Administration: Manage Active Directory, user accounts, permissions, and group policies. Provide technical support to internal staff via ticketing systems.
- Cloud & Virtualization: Maintain virtualized environments (VMware/Hyper-V) and assist with cloud migration efforts (Azure/AWS).
- Backup & Recovery: Develop and execute data backup strategies, ensuring business continuity and disaster recovery readiness.
- Hardware & Software: Install, configure, and repair hardware and software across the organization.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux (RHEL/CentOS), Active Directory, and PowerShell scripting.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Flexibility: Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends to support critical system updates.
