Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Report Generation: Develop comprehensive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI to visualize complex data for stakeholders.
- SQL & Database Management: Write complex SQL queries to extract data from relational databases and ensure data integrity.
- Statistical Modeling: Apply statistical methods to test hypotheses and forecast future trends.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, finance, and operations teams to translate data into strategic business plans.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in data collection processes and propose automation solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in Data Analysis or a similar quantitative role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R. Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is essential.
- Tools: Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and experience with ETL processes.
- Communication: Excellent ability to translate complex data findings into clear, non-technical language for executive presentations.
- Relocation: Willingness to relocate to Illinois (or currently residing in the Los Angeles area with interest in relocation).
