Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and iterate advanced prompt strategies for LLM applications across diverse domains
- Develop systematic frameworks for prompt testing, A/B testing, and performance benchmarking
- Collaborate with ML engineers to align prompt engineering with model architecture objectives
- Create comprehensive documentation of prompt methodologies, best practices, and performance metrics
- Lead prompt optimization projects to improve accuracy, coherence, and task-specific performance
- Research emerging prompt engineering techniques and integrate industry innovations
- Mentor junior engineers on prompt design principles and ethical AI implementation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering or NLP-focused AI development
- Proven track record of optimizing prompts for production-scale AI systems
- Expertise with LLM frameworks (GPT, Claude, LLaMA) and fine-tuning methodologies
- Strong Python programming skills with libraries like Hugging Face, LangChain, or LlamaIndex
- Experience with MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow) and prompt versioning systems
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into prompt strategies
- Published research or open-source contributions in prompt engineering or NLP
- Excellent written communication skills with ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
