Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor advanced security measures across networks, systems, and applications
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential risks
- Develop incident response plans and lead security breach investigations
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with industry regulations (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Manage security tools including SIEM platforms, firewalls, and endpoint protection systems
- Stay current on emerging threats and recommend proactive security strategies
- Document security policies and conduct employee training programs
- Coordinate with law enforcement during cybercrime investigations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or Security+ required; CompTIA Security+ minimum
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and zero-trust architectures
- Strong analytical skills and ability to prioritize security incidents
- Excellent written/verbal communication and problem-solving abilities
- Valid U.S. work authorization and ability to pass background check
