Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify system weaknesses.
- Investigate security incidents and coordinate incident response activities to minimize downtime.
- Implement and manage security controls to protect against malware, ransomware, and phishing attacks.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to secure cloud environments (AWS/Azure) and on-premise networks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or network administration.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms is required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities.
