As a key member of our Security Operations Center (SOC), you will defend our infrastructure against evolving threats and ensure regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents using SIEM tools like Splunk or QRadar.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO).
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to ensure secure cloud and infrastructure deployment.
- Perform forensic analysis on security breaches and generate detailed reports for stakeholders.
- Train employees on security best practices and phishing awareness.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or a related field.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CCNA Security preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Proven experience with incident response and threat hunting methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
