Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel).
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses in our systems.
- Implement and manage security controls to ensure compliance with industry standards (NIST, PCI-DSS, HIPAA).
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Investigate security breaches, root cause analysis, and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences.
- Prepare and present security reports to stakeholders and executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, threat analysis, or incident response.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GIAC GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection.
- Proficiency with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
