Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise-level cybersecurity incident response and threat mitigation
- Design and implement advanced security monitoring using SIEM tools (Splunk/Symantec)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on cloud/on-premise systems
- Develop security policies and procedures aligned with NIST/CIS frameworks
- Collaborate with IT teams to harden network infrastructure and endpoints
- Prepare executive-level security dashboards and compliance reports
- Mentor junior analysts and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity/IT or equivalent experience (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 2+ years in incident response
- CISSP, CEH, or GIAC certification (required or pending)
- Expertise in SIEM implementation, threat hunting, and EDR solutions
- Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure security services and network security
- Strong analytical skills with ability to document complex technical findings
- Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain
