Responsibilities
- Lead 24/7 threat detection, monitoring, and incident response across multi-cloud environments
- Conduct advanced vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and implement security automation scripts using Python/SOAR tools
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Manage SIEM platforms (Splunk/Sentinel) and correlate threat intelligence
- Document security policies and procedures with NIST framework alignment
- Mentor junior analysts and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in SOC environments
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or GIAC (e.g., GCFA/GCIH) required
- Expertise in threat hunting, EDR solutions (CrowdStrike/Carbon Black), and network security
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GDPR)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate complex threats
