Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization platforms (VMware), and cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Implement robust security protocols, patch management, and disaster recovery solutions
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios/Zabbix and proactively resolve issues
- Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible
- Collaborate with network teams to ensure seamless infrastructure operations
- Document system configurations and maintain compliance standards
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex system incidents
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise networking
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms
- Security certifications (CompTIA Security+, CISSP) highly preferred
