Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Linux/Windows server infrastructure across cloud and on-premise environments
- Implement and monitor security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls
- Automate deployment and configuration using Ansible, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex system issues and incident response
- Document IT infrastructure, procedures, and disaster recovery plans
- Collaborate with development teams on DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios, Datadog, and Prometheus
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration
- Expert proficiency in Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server administration
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Certifications in CompTIA Server+, AWS SysOps, or equivalent preferred
- Experience with scripting (Python/Bash) and automation tools
- Proven track record in implementing security best practices (CIS benchmarks)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with network protocols and services
