Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Implement and monitor security protocols to protect against cyber threats
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot hardware/software issues
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and active directory services
- Develop disaster recovery plans and conduct regular backups
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline integration
- Document system configurations and create technical documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Windows/Linux system administration
- Strong knowledge of virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Expertise in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and firewalls
- Certification in CompTIA Server+ or equivalent (e.g., MCSE, RHCE)
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds)
