Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive manual and automated test plans across web, mobile, and desktop platforms
- Design and maintain detailed test cases using industry-standard tools like JIRA and Selenium
- Identify, document, and track defects with clear severity classifications
- Collaborate with Agile development teams to ensure rapid iteration quality
- Conduct regression testing for complex feature updates and system integrations
- Generate quality metrics reports and improvement recommendations
- Mentor junior QA staff on best practices and testing methodologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software QA with 2+ years in remote testing environments
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright)
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools (JIRA, Postman, Charles Proxy), and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience testing RESTful APIs and database interactions (SQL/NoSQL)
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent is highly desirable
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written communication for defect documentation and team collaboration
- Proven ability to manage multiple testing priorities in fast-paced environments
